Psychomotor re-education or movement therapy is a method of working with children that, through the experience of physical integrity, encourages the overall development of the individual.

Through the treatments of psychomotor reeducation, the functional integrity of the child’s psychomotor is reintegrated, sensor-motor experiences are aroused, raised and repeated through movement. The idea is to look at the child as a whole and strive for comprehensive development, instead of encouraging the development of particular areas.

The treatment of psychomotor reeducation in Artimatica is designed on the basis of an assessment of the developmental needs and abilities of the child, starting from the developmental potentials, skills that the child has mastered, and the subsequent developmental levels are gradually reached.

The treatment is performed by a defectologist oligophrenologist – a reeducator of psychomotor skills.
